Healing Testimony of David and Miriam L. as submitted by daughter (Brain Trauma)

David and Miriam (my parents) were both victims of a hit and run accident where multiple cars crashed into their car after two racing cars slammed into them on 7/4/22. They were on their way to the emergency room that night due to my mother's abdominal pain. David was diagnosed with multiple fractures along his neck and lower back. Miriam was rushed into brain surgery due to head trauma and internal bleeding; doctors removed half of her skull to give room for the inflammation. Doctors had to induce a coma for a few days to allow her brain to heal, and although the surgery was successful they weren't sure how much of her functions would return.  I reached out to the Healing Rooms of Hayward prayer team believing for the Lord to provide healing and for help and received encouraging words and faith led prayers. 

It's been three weeks since we received prayer, and we now have a testimony brewing! David was discharged after 3 days with a neck brace and a treatment of keeping the brace on even during showers for 8 weeks. We had a follow-up consultation and x-rays within three weeks, and the neurosurgeons were surprised! The fractures were not showing on the x-rays and showed the bones had fused back within only 3 weeks, which is unheard of for his age! They promptly notified us that treatment via the neck brace is now not needed, and that he can get back to normal life as long as he manages the pain of his muscle tightness. Miriam has now woken up from her coma, and although still in the hospital has begun regaining some of her functions. She is breathing 100% on her own, moves her right arm & foot, has begun moving her left arm and is responding to "yes and no" questions! Each day she has a little more alertness and is slowly recovering.

Healing testimony from Mary W. (Post Delivery Complications for Mom and Baby)

I called the Healing Room for prayer for my daughter, Alison and her baby Cecelia.   I knew that I needed the support in prayer. I needed my faith bolstered because this situation was not an easy fix.

Alison had a difficult labor and delivery of her baby. Alison suffered 4th degree tears that required over 3 hours of surgery right after giving birth.  The surgeon said that it would take about 12 weeks for recovery. She had much pain and fear that it would not heal properly.  The baby had crowned for over an hour and had her difficulties because of how she was situated in utero.  The baby had a head that leaned to the left, a misshaped skull, and hips were turned to one side.

Thank you Healing Rooms of Hayward for your prayers.  Alison is almost 100% recovered. Right now there is no problem with urinary tract or rectum. The baby has made great strides with her neck muscles. At 5 ½ months she is beginning to hold her head straight.  Hip scans show no sign of malformation of the spine. The shape of her head is becoming more rounded as it should be, so much better that what it was. Neurologist reports that Cecelia is fine.

Baby Cecelia was born with skull abnormalities.  One side was flat not rounded at all. The remedy is that the baby needs to wear a helmet to correct it. The pediatrician felt a specialist was needed.  Several months later after prayer from the Healing Rooms of Hayward, the specialist says there is no need for a helmet. It will continue to correct. Healing Testimony from Bill B. (Chronic Back Pain)

It is a curious thing to give a testimony when after 9 months of coming, I still have degenerative disc disease and my back still puts significant constraints on my daily life.   I was first diagnosed back in Spring 2015 and have had many treatments, go to a Pain Doctors office at least 4 times a year to check in on my meds or arrange treatments at a SurgiCenter.  
So why do I continue to come to the Healing Rooms of Hayward?  The answer is because God has moved, has healed, has restored and is continuing to do so.  He just hasn’t yet given me my new spine.

In January 2018 my Pain Dr finished up trying his last treatment, back to back epidurals, to get the growing pain under control.  He hoped for 50%.   God blessed his effort and got me closer to 80%.  I hoped to get 6 months of relief, the longest I had ever gone between treatments.  

My prayers were mostly that it would last long enough for me to do so.   But the Lord put it on my heart to pursue my healing and not to wait for it.   So I decided to look for healing rooms and found Healing Rooms of Hayward.  Some also recommended it to me as a place to try.  I was determined to be like the persistent widow.   After an unfortunate experience elsewhere, I gave up on the idea as my depression worsened, but the Lord graciously and sovereignly set me free in a Trader Joes parking lot and with renewed faith and hope, so I returned to my plan to pursue healing at the healing rooms.

So what has happened in 9 months that keeps me coming back, especially on those nights my back is stiff and achy?  The first thing I would say is that for me the Healing Rooms of Hayward is a very safe place.   I am in the longest period of stability I have ever experienced.  In 30 months from July 2015 to Jan 2018 I had 6 epidurals, 3 sets of Facet Joint injections and a Nerve Ablation to kill nerve ends in my back various sets of trigger point injections were in between.   6 months was the longest I went between procedures and the last month or 2 of each were increasingly difficult.   I am now on month 14 since my last one in Jan 2018.  I was able to get on a plane and visit my mother in Wisconsin last November without pain meds. I hadn’t been on a plane since 2015 when a flight to LA and a car ride did me in. I haven’t taken any Opiod pain meds for my back in almost a year.   

But the main testimony I would bring is one of hope and faith.  Pain is a liar and over time the lies take a deep root.  Recently I received encouragement to seek the healer not just my healing.    And the Lord showed me how I think of myself, as broken and ineffective for ministry in His Kingdom.  But in the light of His love the lie is revealed and its power is broken.  

For those of us who live with chronic pain and issues it is easy to slip into a survival mentality.  Hope is to make it through the current period of time and maybe tomorrow will be better. But pursuing my healing here, I am free.  No longer walking in fear of it all crashing in on me and ending up back on a procedure table again after enduring long periods of pain.   I no longer see myself in terms of my physical constraints.  My testimony is one of hope, renewal, freedom, a healing in process thru the goodness of God.

Healing testimony from Phil for his sister (Mental/Emotional)

My name is Phil and I requested prayer for my Sister. Thanks for your prayers. She is doing much better but we are still praying for her complete healing. 

Her mental and emotional health is getting better and better. She has improved significantly over the last months . The doctors have said she has made a remarkable recovery, and she is getting strength back, her wound is healed and she is walking much better. Pray for greater healing, strength, energy, sleep, itching healed, pain gone and 100% health. Also pray for deliverance from fear, better sleep at night, wisdom and healing for me as well. I have been claiming the promises of the healing scriptures and God has answered. I am so grateful for your love, prayers, resources and website. Healing Testimony for Mark E. (Congestive Heart Failure)

I have congestive heart failure—diagnosed 7 years ago. I came to CA, because my doctors were not hopeful and did not believe that I had much time left. My heart was functioning at capacity of 12% - having difficulty pumping the blood through my body. I came to the Healing Rooms for prayer and continued to receive ongoing prayer. I started to feel better and began to do more things physically without pain. When I went back to the hospital six months later to have my heart re-tested, they were surprised to find that my heart was now functioning at at capacity of 42%! It is a miracle! Prayer does work!

Healing Testimony Krystyna K. (Lupus)

I came to the Healing Rooms with a feeling of great frustration about my mother who’d Lupus disease for many years. All my family was scared because she didn’t have health insurance. At the Healing Rooms, they prayed for a supernatural healing for my mother in Texas. Not long after that, my mother went home to Ukraine to be tested. Healing testimony , Wayne E. (Back Pain/Leg Growth)

I had back pain for a few years, I was asked if one leg was longer than the other. I had never considered this and said, “No.” But, my legs were—one was 1 1/2” shorter than the other. I was then prayed for, and during the prayer the leg grew to match the other one—in front of everyone’s eyes! My back is still pain free to this day.

Healing testimony , Claire, V. (Toe fracture)

My big toe was fractured and I had limited range of motion for a long time. After receiving prayer at the Healing Rooms for several weeks, there was a change and the range of motion in my toe was returned to normal. Thank you for your prayers!

I had experienced trauma in my youth and even as a Christian, I had been dealing with dark thoughts for awhile with no relief. I came to the Healing Rooms for prayer for deliverance from these thoughts. They were kind and non-judgmental, which I appreciated very much. After prayer, I felt the oppression lift. It has been several weeks now and the dark thoughts have subsided. Thank God for these healing prayers.
